With our Master Kit, you can effectively repair dozens of broken objects in a very traditional method using real urushi lacquers, without artificial materials.
The main difference between this kit and our best-selling beginner repair kit is:
-Comes with easy-to read ENGLISH kintsugi repair manual

-Real gold 0.5 GRAM included which is food-safe unlike other metallic powders
-Accompanying items are not included such as plate, spatula, fine sandpaper etc to save your cost.
-Comes with 250% more urushi lacquers compared to beginner's repair kit. Enough for+ 50 repairs!

Caution: Urushi Lacquer is made from tree sap and it has been used for 9,000 years by Japanese lacquer masters as a glue, putty, or paint. Although Urushi contains a compound that can cause a reaction similar to poison ivy, proper handling (gloves and long-sleeved shirt), and working in a well-ventilated area will generally prevent an allergic reaction. Mejiro Co. will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to Urushi Lacquer.

  • If You Can Break It, We Can Fix It!

Kintsugi (or Kintsukuroi) is the Japanese art of using urushi lacquer, mixed with genuine gold to repair broken pottery and porcelain. The philosophy behind this technique is to treat the repair as part of the object’s history as opposed to treating the repair as something to hide as if it never happened. The resulting repaired pottery will be both visually appealing and durable as well.

For your daily use platewares and precious broken items, you should use genuine gold!

*Urushi lacquer is heatproof up to 100 to 120 Celsius.

*Kit items are fixed, no change is accepted.

Disclaimer: Urushi should be used at your own risk. Mejiro Co. cannot be held responsible for any allergenic reactions or medical expenses caused by Urushi or Urushi related products.
